Camille Cummings - Former MN Timberwolves Dancer, Choreographer, and Coach In Studio Alliance Dance Lab 1 DAY Class

Who:  We are excited to welcome Minnesota and out of state dancers age 11 and up.

• What: Alliance Dance Lab POWERED BY Alliance Dance Network is giving dancers a unique opportunity to take an hour and a half In Studio class with Former Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team, Dancer, Choreographer, and Coach Camille Cummings. Dancers will learn a challenging and energetic NBA ProStyle combo + perform a ONLINE improv freestyle at the end of class with the other participating dancers, and be featured in the online class recap video on the Alliance Dance Network/Alliance Dance Lab's IG, FB, and YT.  (if you record yourself performing the routine at home or location of your choice, and email us the video to: Info@alliancedancenetwork.com) We will also be downloading and including the improv class group freestyle video from the online class live feed in the class recap.

Why: To offer Minnesota and out of state dancers, the opportunity to train with qualified local, and across the country dance educators, with in studio and online classes + OSDX WS.

Here’s what you get:

• A 1 hr & a half NFL ProStyle combo class with Camille Cummings Former Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team Dancer, Choreographer, and Coach
• Rehearsal class footage captured by the ADN.
• 1 to 3 group combo performance run-throughs captured by ADN at the end of Camille's class .
• 1 Improv circle feature filmed by ADN in front of the other participating dancers, of a dance skill, turns or leaps of your choice at the end of Eva's class.
• 10 min Q & A with Camille to ask what its like being a part of the Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team.
• The rehearsal, and group performance feature footage captured by ADN, emailed to you up to 2 weeks after the class, in a dropbox folder to share on your social media.
• A feature in the rehearsal footage, group run-throughs, and improv freestyle section of the class, in a recap video +content posts, posted on the ADN/ADL's IG. FB, and YT Channel.
• Your Name & IG handle tagged in the recap video + posts/descriptions.

-Alliance Dance Lab Online Class Schedule-

4:15 pm to 4:30 pm - Dancers Sign In

4:30 pm to 3:40 pm - Class Stretch/Warm Up

4:40 pm to 5:40 pm - Learning the Class Combo (with water breaks taken during the class)

5:40 pm to 6:00 pm - Filming the class combo in groups 

6:00 pm to 6:10 pm - Group Dancer Improv Freestyle

6:10 pm to 6:20 pm - Q & A with Camille to find out what its like being a part of the Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team.

What Happens Next: What Happens Next: We edit all of the footage into a class recap video and share it as well as group run throughs of the class combo, on our Alliance Dance Network IG, YT, FB.

Please Note: All dancers must be ages 11 to Seniors in HS. Dancers must have a parent register/electronically sign a model release/waiver.

HOW TO REGISTER & ATTEND YOUR Alliance Dance Lab Class

1) Read through the Ticket Description above/what it includes 2)  Select how many tickets you would like to purchase below 3) Fill out the registration form/waiver/model release/agreement 4) Check out 5) Receive your Alliance Dance Lab confirmation email and an additional one with the class location's address, about where to park at the studio etc. 4) Print off or show the CLASS PASS on your smartphone to be scanned when you sign in for your class.

-Meet Your Teacher-

Camille Cummings is a passionate dance choreographer known for creating award-winning competition solo pieces and large group routines for professional NBA Dance Teams. As a former Minnesota Timberwolves Dancer of 5 years and NBA Dance Coach for 6 years, she enjoys sharing her love for NBA ProStyle performances with dancers across the U.S. today.

Prior to entering NBA entertainment, Camille trained for more than 16 years in various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap. She danced competitively growing up at her local studio in Woodbury, Minnesota, then continued dancing for a competitive club team during her freshman year in college. Over the years, Camille worked as a Gymnastics Coach, Dance Instructor, and judged dance competitions throughout the metro area. She had the opportunity to perform as a professional dancer in 7 countries, and for musical artists such as Drake and Walk the Moon, among many others.

Camille’s diverse dance background laid the foundation for her unique choreographic style. She continues to inspire dancers of all ages through her classes and enjoys watching many of them grow to become industry dancers or dancers for professional sports teams.
